Crack a joke (lie)

"You're right, I am lost," You say. She looks back at you, confused. "Lost in your eyes!" Your grin spreads from ear to ear as she throws her head back and guffaws.
"You're so funny John!" She barely manages to get through giggles. She rests her hand on your waist and pulls her body a little closer to yours. She's so close that every sense takes in her being. You can feel the heat of her body, amplified by the thick covers, smell the light scent of her perfume and hear her breaths, short and expectant. You take a moment to wonder what sort of lottery you won in order for such a beautiful woman to be so intimate with you. You can feel the woman's eyes staring at you, as if she's waiting for you to do something.
