You would have been perfectly happy to just sit there and wait for her, as she had instructed. However, you are surprised when you hear a voice from the direction in which she’d headed.

“So, it’s just the two of us in here,” she says, chuckling lightly at the end. “I’m always curious if they hire homosexuals to keep us safe.”

You find yourself chuckling back.

“I could see that,” you admit.

“So are you…?” she asks.

“I refuse to answer that question for the security of my job,” you respond, adding another laugh at the tail end to assure that Irina doesn’t get insulted.

“Ooh..”, she says. “I could tell your supervisor that you’re not being cooperative, and you’d be on the next flight out.”

“You wouldn’t do that!”, you respond, laughing at the open of your own response.

“It’s our first time working together,” she reminds you. “You don’t know WHAT I would do!”

“True enough,” you admit with a few more laughs. “In THAT case, I’ll admit that I have admired you since you were the cover girl in 2011.”

“Oh, really?!”. she asks, with a laugh that you think might have some sort of an edge to it.

“Yeah,” you admit, adding an edged laugh of your own.

“Well, they can’t shoot ANYTHING without the model, so why don’t we spend some time together and cover each other?!”, she asks.
