Cove of Humanoids from the deep!

Rebecca blinks... then blinks again. The air is refreshingly cool, with the familiar scent of a sea breeze, the echoes of waves crashing against a shoreline filled the girls ears. Rebecca was aware they were in some sort of cave close to the ocean, with a bright beam of sunlight piercing down from a hole in the caverns roof above. The three girls had teleported onto a round and flat rock formation that jutted out into a large chamber filled with ocean water that seemed to flow back and forth slightly from the tide. There was a narrow rocky path that lead deeper into the cave behind them as well as a large opening along the far wall out to the broader ocean.

What occupied all of Rebecca's focus for the moment, however, was the monstrously large creature by the ocean entrance that stared back at her with dark black eyes, its muscular body looking like a cross between that of a man and some giant lizard monster she'd seen from an old film, with it's head a large round and squat visage that seemed to resemble a brain with no nose or snout. It opened its mouth slightly, revealing two rows of sharp pointed teeth as it seemed to begin to drool. The creature stood on two legs, but seemed unable to stand upright as it remained hunched over, it's balance maintained by a long and thick tail that dragged across the ground behind it, with several fins that seemed to extend down its back and tail. Rebecca guessed the size of the humanoid to be similar to that of a bear and she might have compared it in other ways with those massive muscular arms, large clawed hands and feet, and what looked like some sort of armored plate across most of its body.

Rebecca froze as she remained silent, wondering why the mad doctor would have teleported three young women here of all places. She finally turns her head back to the others to check on the-

"What the hell is that!?" Ayita gasps in astonishment, causing a chill to run down Rebecca's spine. She turned back to look back at the creature but only managed to see its long tail slinking down into the water it had stood before. Rebecca swore she heard another splash of water or two at that moment as she turns back to her friends and urges them hurriedly back across the rocky path back into the cave!
