Cosplay Gone Wrong
It was the day of the annual Comicon convention, and the agents of Warehouse 13 were on high alert. Each and every year they had attend and artifact was found or uncovered. For five years running an artifact was found. Knowing this Artie had dispatched Pete and Myka to acquire this years find. Unknown to the dynamic duo this year would be different.
*** Their mission: Retrieve a mysterious artifact with the ability to bring cosplay outfits to life. ***
Greeted by the receptionist, Pete and Myka registered into the front desk at the Las Vegas hotel on the 29th of October. Only being a day before Halloween Pete had a bad feeling like this mission was not going to go well. However on a "Pete Vibe" scale this was a simple three out of ten on the danger scale. Claire the receptionist, a bright eyed, 20 something bombshell, made eye contact with the handsome Pete Lattimer.
Sir, here are your two room keys and two passes for the Comicon event, I hope you enjoy your stay, and if there is anything you need please call the front desk and ask for Claire.
Pete was about to respond, in a flirtatious, and obviously candid Pete response however, Myka rudely interrupted.
Thank you, was it Claire, I think we have everything we need. Pete and I will be just fine.
Breaking from the desk Pete looked at Myka and stated "Well I think it is time we retire and get into our costumes and into the fun."
*** Subsequently they departed the front desk, took the elevator to the sixth floor and, arrived at their room, oddly room 666 ***
Arriving in the room Pete and Myka began to unpack and get into costume.
-- Pete Dressed as a noble lord from time long lost.
-- Myka dressed as Wonder Woman, no better way to turn heads and get truth from others than being an Amazon.
Departing their room they entered the elevator. Pete could not keep his eyes of Myka's ass. His thoughts drifted to fantasy, a special gleam in his eyes, and drifting off into thought.
Myka: Hey Pete, get your head straight, my eyes are up here.
Pete: Moving his eyes a bit higher he was subsequently distracted by the corset Myka had, such a great replication of the actual Wonder Woman costume. "Sorry Myka I saw bazookas, and you know me" he stated without making eye contact with Myka, still fixated on her great great assets.
The elevator door dinged and opened to the convention floor. Entering the floor they set about their tasks... and every so often Pete grabbed an inadvertant glance at his partner.
*** Hours Passed **
The pair took some time looking around the convention, nothing stood out. Booths were numerous, you could get an autograph from anyone from Joss Weldon to James Cameron for a price. Or perhaps meet and get a photo with anyone from Alodia Goseingfiao to Yaya Han. This was the top of the top for Comicons. Hours passed and nothing stood out to either of the two. Passing by the crowd of Cosplayers nothing looked to authentic to set off any alarms... Having perused the main displays throughout the convention and entering the later part of the night Myka became tired.
Myka: Pete, I think its about time we work out a rotation, I do not think this will stop until late tonight and I am tired of this outfit. How about we split and I take a break while you work the room?
Pete: I think that will work, I have not had any vibes, but I will let you know if I do.. Get some rest
It was around 11 p.m when Pete and Myka finally split, Myka returning to the room and Pete continuing to work the convention hall.
*** Alone and Unafraid ***
Alone and unafraid Pete continued to survey the convention, working his way towards the farther end of the convention he encounter a novelties section.
Greetings My Lord! one of the vendors announced. Pete turned to look... Smiling at him and the source of the announcement was a young lady working behind a booth. Pete being the ever polite/flirtatious male walked up.
Jumping into character Pete respond with a sound. Good tidings my lady, what trinkets might you be offering to a sound and high status lord such as I?
Good knight and my lord, I offer trinkets from Europe as tribute to you and your kingdom, she responded in kind, not skipping a beat to Pete's outfit.
Pete approached the booth, never taking his eyes off the female attendant.
Arriving at the booth Pete looks over the trinkets displayed before him. "My Lady these seem like fine trinkets, but..." Making eye contact with the bright eyed blond, "I could not make such a purchase without getting to know a fare lady such a you."
Enamored by Pete's advance, the attendant responds with "My Lord I may perhaps be so inclined to get to know you, more personally, behind the booth as my break is overdue." Turning her head towards the curtain she mutters Sarah, it's your turn I am taking my break.
The curtains open and Sarah walks out
Does Pete entertain the request from the "Attendant"
