Corruption

It would be much more fun for you and your master if the Ranger became corrupt, plus how could you leave a Orc unit unused? That's just wasteful. Plus, while he may not have the weakest mind, he was more open than the paladin or the cleric. Plus, if you do well enough, you can gift their bodies to the Master.

Staying away from the Paladin, you go around the camp, entering the ranger's tent from the shadows. As you enter, the tent darkens under your influence and the ranger gives off signs of unease. Standing over his sleeping form, your powers go to work invading his dreams, trying to change him during the night.

You appear in his dream as the cleric, covering your face with hers and changing the color of your cloak. "You are going to die", you said simply catching him off guard, "you are unprepared for the dangers of this land, boy."

"What do you mean?", he replied, unsure of the words escaping the cleric's lips.

"What I mean is that you need a guide, and I shall help you after you understand the true dangers of this place"

Fading away slowly, you leave the ranger's mind, leaving behind seeds of doubt in his own abilities.

Feeling confident in your actions, you leave the ranger's mind only to feel a strong burning sensation. The stupid paladin had set up a holy barrier while you were inside the fools head.
