I got to the office for the meeting, meeting with a five star general, two other government agents, and one heavy set black woman. Each of them taking a seat before the general attempted to order me as a citizen to tell him everything, going with the brute **** approach and threatening me with interrogation, ****, my company and all my assets being taken away as well. When a weapon landed in between his legs, just barely missing anything vital, it looked like a throwing knife. That was when they looked up and saw Shiva above them, dropping down as she explained that she'd been assigned to keep me and my company protected from any threats. The general was suddenly much quieter as the others began to try and talk at once. "First and foremost, the precog that gave me the vision in question is GONE, I only have the info I have because of them. Secondly there are certain things I CAN'T stop without causing things to pile up like a backlog, eventually they would all start happening at once. Third, NO your TASK **** X is NOT something that will stop any of the events from happening, the best they can manage is restricting the damage done, limiting casualties and that's mostly it. Now would someone explain why your first instinct was to try to capture and **** one of my workers?" I asked, the door locking behind them as Cheshire stood there at the door, her mask on, weapon in hand.

I heard some bullshit government jargon from Waller trying to explain they were in the right, that I and my company were a potential threat and blah blah blah blah fucking blah. She was basically just trying to bullshit her way through legalese into explaining that they had every right to clear out my company take everything I had and see what else we knew with whatever methods they saw fit. At which point I sighed and reminded them. "If I was a threat to any of you people, WHY would I WARN you about what's coming? I could have just kept my mouth shut and taken advantage once you were all either dead or too busy to keep hold of anything I wanted. Instead I sent a message as carefully as I could, as quietly as I could. I warned you of what was coming, even told you the purpose of this company is to start making preparations to protect the world from such dangers." I asked and explained, looking at them with a deadpan look on my face after a moment. Waller glaring back at me like I had no right to do anything other than just give her whatever she wanted for nothing in return. "Well if your gonna look at me like that I should probably let you know, I went ahead and dropped another message off with the president. By now he's read it and already knows about this meeting and what's going on, so you can have fun explaining that." Waller's glare somehow gained more anger and heat to it, it only made me care even less for the old bitch that thought she deserved power.

The meeting was cut short after that, their phones ringing minutes later, as each of them suddenly had to leave. One of the agents staying behind to pass on a message of apology and assuring that if I could prove what I said was true then they would be willing to work with me. I explained that I could provide proof to one person, whoever they chose would be gaining a mental connection to me, explained that it increased the mental defenses others had to things like mind reading or mind control and that it was a slightly time consuming process that needed to be uninterrupted. I got a response that within a few days they would have someone come by for that proof then. With that they left, all and all I realized, Waller was going to be a problem going forward. She was clearly far too focused on getting her own objectives accomplished, focusing too heavily on the means don't matter as long as the mission succeeds.

Plans to deal with her would have to be made later on, for now I had to focus on getting things started first. The rest of the day was spent getting the production area up and running, I got hold of several new hires as well, introducing them to the team and getting things ready to produce. Our first team worked on mass producing the normal products, games, consoles and whatnot, but our second team was brought together to start producing weapons and armor, special order pieces as well. It was when I went back to my 2 story home with my protectors that I would begin the really important work. We arrived back and I tossed a card to Jade, telling her to go ahead and order what she wanted and her friend wanted for dinner, stating that I would be heading into my lab most likely for the rest of the night. Jade reminded me that I still needed to eat, Shiva looking annoyed for a moment before Jade explained to her that I wasn't ignoring them, that it was an additional benefit of working as my bodyguards, I paid for basically everything and provided a free place to stay. It wasn't that I was trying to keep them OUT of the lab, just trying to make sure they were taken care of. Hours later I came out of the lab exhausted, dinner had long since passed as I ate a bit of leftovers before heading back for my room and bed. Shiva asleep already with Cheshire explaining that she was up to keep watch, just in case. I asked if I should improve the defenses so that she could get some rest herself, she giggled at me in response, saying that she was used to this and would be switching off with Shiva soon enough to get some sleep.

I nodded my head and offered again just in case, I didn't want either of them to be exhausted if I could help it after all. When morning came around they both looked well rested and prepared, I called in to work a few minutes later explaining that I had work to do at home today, I was then informed that there was a woman coming by today, to try and purchase the company. I sighed before agreeing to come in for that meeting, I got prepared and hopped into the vehicle, said bodyguards jumping in as I drove off to work. I made it clear I wouldn't be in tomorrow right away, that I only had so much time to get this work done. A woman walked up wearing a business suit and had her hair up in a bun, she said she had an offer to purchase my company. I told her I wasn't interested in selling, I had long term plans that I wasn't going to just throw aside no matter who her boss was. She suggested talking about this in the office, I sighed and stepped inside behind the woman, walking past her and sitting at my desk before she held out a large briefcase full of cash. "It's just over 5 million dollars, but it's all for you to sell your company and it's secrets to my employer. It's the first payment in fac-" I stopped her there, closing the case she'd put on my desk. "Not interested. Besides with the plans I have in store? Your a few zero's short, at least. Let me guess, you work for a competitor? Wayne Tech wouldn't do this kind of thing so I'm guessing Lexcorp right? Lex had a chance to work with me a year ago and decided I wasn't worth his time, so how about you ask what changed and I WON'T consider it anyways." I said before pointing her towards the door.

She started to reach for her hair bun, right up until Cheshire appeared and grasped her arm. "Hello Roulette, I'm afraid he's under OUR protection." At that moment I saw the beautiful woman, now known as Roulette pale a bit, turning her head as she saw Shiva standing on the opposite side of her. She stepped away from my desk and sighed a moment. "Well this won't be fun to report... Luthor wanted me to buy you out believing that you must be having financial trouble by now. But you've got the backing of them? Luthor will likely want to meet you himself at some point..." She explained, I nodded my head. "He'll be worried I might be focused on causing him trouble? He doesn't need to worry, he's not my focus, I have much worse concerns and if he wants to find out he's welcome to ask me himself. But I'm sure he and I both have more important work we need to do than be concerned about potential competition."

With that she smiled and was about to head out when I set several hundred thousand dollars onto the table. "Roulette? Would you be willing to spread word of a few things for me? In exchange for this payment that is." She asked for a bit more depending on what it was, I explained that I was in need of mercenaries, security and protection for my business, she agreed to that and left. I did the work that needed my attention before we headed back, still having hours left before dinner, hell it was barely lunch time when we got back. We ordered food and I went back to the lab to continue my work, Jade dragging me back upstairs when the food arrived. Shiva took the opportunity to ask what it was I was working on, I said I might be able to show her in an hour or so, saying it was nearly done.

A couple hours later I managed to head back upstairs with a case, I handed it to Jade before collapsing onto the couch. "Go ahead, open it..." I said as I sighed and relaxed a minute, hearing a gasp of surprise as the case was opened, Jade looking at a beautiful sword with a glowing green blade edge. "W-what is this?" I heard Shiva ask, looking for a moment with surprise. It was a Tachi sword, it was quite well made in fact, Jade began to pick it up until I warned her. "Be careful swinging it! The green edge sends out a blade of sharpened compressed air when you swing it, it's only the prototype at the moment but I thought you'd appreciate it." I explained, I missed Shiva's jaw hanging open a moment, but not Jade asking if there was somewhere safe she could test it out at. "Well there is I think..." With that I took them both downstairs, showed her the mechanism for releasing the wind blade from the swords edge. I pulled up a solid chunk of steel, setting it up and offering her it as a target. She swung her blade and the nearly invisible wind blade launched out, cleaving through the solid steel like it wasn't even there, Shiva and Jade noticing there was a slight distortion in the air that made the blade barely visible. "Yeah it's hard to make it totally invisible, this might be as close as I can get to finishing it for now."

The rest of the night I spent it relaxing, though I did see them talking to each other off and on through out the rest of the night. Eventually Shiva asked if I would be willing to make weapons for her organization as well, I explained I'd be willing too under certain conditions sure, explaining further that my lab is the only place I can make weapons like that one. I further explained that her sword isn't entirely finished yet, I was working on another FAR more advanced and powerful one but that was far FAR off from being prepared. They talked amongst themselves a bit until night came, dinner had just arrived and shortly after came the same beautiful brown haired woman from before. She smiled as she explained the decision that was reached, saying that her organization would help keep watch over my company and assist me at a very reduced rate, that they would likely need certain additional favors or help in response. I responded by saying that most things I could offer them in the future would be worthwhile, but what I was currently able to do was limited, I also explained that I intended to put together a group in time that would encompass people from all walks of life for the purpose of stopping the worse events, but once again that would take time to get up and running.

She nodded her head at me, moments before introducing herself. "I am Talia Al Ghul, daughter of Ra's Al Ghul the leader of the League of Assassins. We have no doubt that our organization will be needed for these events the vision warned of." I said It was good to finally meet her and pointed out the new weapon Cheshire had, explaining that once I was able to get facilities fully up and running I would be able to supply such new weapons or armor to anyone willing to work together for such goals, I also made it clear however that until certain events took place it was unsafe to share them with the entire group at large. Explaining that certain people such as Cheshire were able to receive such a weapon as the events in question didn't directly impact said individuals, I further explained about what would happen if certain events were stopped from happening, about how they would be slown down only to start happening at the same time, spreading any **** thin. Their concerns growing further for a moment. Eventually each of them realized that all we can do is try to combat the dangerous events as best we can as they come...

With that I headed to bed some time later, doing a little extra work in the lab in the meantime. I was informed that this would likely be the last night Shiva or Cheshire would be able to protect me for sometime, I was told they had several new missions coming in that they needed to prepare for as well as additional training to both share and undergo. When I woke up the next morning they were gone, I had a couple days off now that I'd finally gotten the training room finished. With a new Quest screen popping up it was time to start training, the first would likely be... rough...
