Plans for whom?
Cora Harper
It would be a lie to say that Cora wasn't a little indignant when Sara Ryder became Pathfinder instead of her. In fact, it would be fair to say she was downright jealous at being passed over for the role, shameful considering the circumstances. Still, she knew that if protocol had been followed, she'd have been leading the charge into Andromeda once the initial crisis had passed. She was smart, she was strong, and not that it really mattered but she was pretty damn sexy too! So yeah, she should have been Pathfinder.
At least that's what she thought at first... As things started to develop, Cora realized that while she was a woman of many talents, leadership wasn't one of them. She could command, sure, but she couldn't compel. If people followed her, it was out of obligation, not obedience. By contrast, when Sara called, others answered, herself included. She'd go to the front lines without a word and the rest would follow without complaint. Simply put, Sara was meant to give orders, while Cora was meant to follow them.
Something which others are more than happy to take advantage of...
Who's taking advantage?
