Cooling Off With a Surprise

After Henry left I needed to cool off and do some work, which I finally did. Made calls, arranged meetings and had a martini to relax me even more. Made progress with my assignments when I heard the door to the flat opening. It was Paul who informed me that he and Paula where going to adopt a baby.

My eyes widened of the thought that it was an unusual step for them both. I told Paul if there was in any way I could assist I will be happy to oblige. We hugged, had a drink and soon thereafter Paul left.

Surprises, more unexpected sex and other oddities flowed in and out of my life. Then the doorbell rang, answered the it when a young multi culti couple introduced themselves as my new neighbors. I invited them in, exchanged introductions with Yuna telling me that she was from Japan, and Ralf a bbc from Kenya. Only married several months and were starting a business in London. I suggested a dinner the following evening which they accepted.
