Conversations Walking Home After Class

Thursday Afternoon – Front of School

Sometimes during the week there are these little random events. Conversations with other characters as we’re coming out of class. They can be interesting… revealing even… Or they can just be stupid.

Looks like Dimitri is coming my way. He’s that copycat duelist from Ra Yellow though in this game he’s stuck with the Yugi look. What’s funny is that he normally uses a really shitty Joey deck.

“The card Lady Ninja Yae really gets my game on!”

Huh?! Is this guy seriously telling me what he jacks it to?

At some point the topic of “card crushes” was added to the conversation pool and now sometimes an NPC will go on about a card they fancy a bit too much. Sure, there are some pretty hot lady monsters, but how about these guys be like me and try out the real thing! Well, real in their sense. Then again, with all the ladies around here being Obelisk Blue they probably won’t even give these dudes the time of day...

“Ninjas are awesome! They totally get my game on!”

Uhhh?

“…I don’t think I’m using that line correctly!”

Yeaahh, that tracks…

Now here comes Gerard, this middle-aged guy who’s pretending to be a Slifer Red student. He’s like an undercover reporter here to investigate something. I don’t remember and I don’t think this game even covers it to the end.

“My top card is definitely ‘Wasteland Amazon’!” That’s what this game calls Warrior Lady of the Wasteland. “But a kid like you probably doesn’t know why.”

Old man, buddy, do you even know what I’ve been doing here for the past…months now?

Whoa, hold everything! Here comes Mindy!

“My fave card is Getsu Fuhma! I mean, he’s just sooooo hot!”

Good ol’ Mindy! You’d think an Obelisk Blue would show more class. Not bring herself down to our level. But Mindy doesn’t care! She’ll act how ever she wants, and we love her for it! Hey, if she’s feeling rowdy maybe I should take her home…

“Oh? [PLAYER]?! I usually don’t see you at school so late.”

Never mind! Here’s Alexis! Why spend the night with the local strumpet when I can have the crème de la crème, the crown jewel, and my main squeeze, instead?!

“Did you want to see me about something?” Asks Alexis.

“What do you say we walk home together? Y’know, get together at your place? Fuck a few times, and then maybe have a duel if you really want?”

“Sorry… Thanks for the invite, but I have to go somewhere. Good bye, [PLAYER].”

… What? She just left?! Don’t wink at me and then walk off!

After all we’ve done! We’ve been fucking up and down for…months?…a year?…but you don’t want to walk home with me?!

You know what? Fuck this game!! It doesn’t get to the Shadow Riders! It doesn’t even have the Armed Dragons!! God damn it, where’s Stardust Accelerator…
