Convenient and Easy Asian Penny

That night I go to the nearest dive, Rudy's Bar. Sure it's a dump draped in tacky Americana, but there's not much of a crowd here. They also don't water down the drinks here, so right now, we're gonna get along just fine. I start with rum on the rocks, and by the time it's down, I hear a woman's voice say "Look like you could use another?"

I turn my head to see a 30-ish Asian woman with a braided ponytail. Her slender body is covered with jeans, a brown leather jacket, and a grey top with a hint of a tattoo peeking out of the neck-hole.

"Sure. Anyone can buy me a drink."

"Whatcha's poison?"

"Rum on the rocks."

"Two rum on the rocks, please."

The woman then sits down next to me. "Penny, by the way."

"Roxy."

"Foxy Roxy, huh?"

"If only I had a drink every time I'd heard that one."

"Heh. Guess you hear your eyes beautiful too."

I smirk. "Most don't focus on the eyes."

"Well to be fair there's a lot to appreciate."

"Thanks. You're not half bad yourself."

"No." Her foot grazes mine, in her most obvious attempt to flirt yet.

"You always this blatant with women?"

"I know what I want. Nothing wrong with that, right?"

I shrug. "I suppose not."

"So what brings you here tonight?"

After a sigh, I say "Roommate got arrested."

"Oh geez. What for?"

"It's a long list so I won't see him for a long time."

"Tsk. Sounds like a real winner."

"Yeah well, that's what I get in putting my faith in an addict."

"So you need a new roommate?"

"Yeah." I raise an eyebrow. "You looking for a place?"

"Conveniently enough I am, actually."

"Heh. I should come here more often."

"Well, how about I take you home and show you why you should have me as your roommate?" Her cocky tone is only equaled by her smug little smirk, and both tell me exactly what her intentions are.
