Continue with Carma's plan? Or do you have a better idea?
Continue with Carma's plan. Why complicate things now?
You slowly hook your earrings into place, rubbing your lips together to ensure the lipstick is as perfect as the blonde stack elegantly poised above your brow. You grin, as freely, maliciously, evilly, as Carma would. You're dressed to turn heads, a perfectly calculated move to overshadow the bride, who innocently took your advice on outfits for her bridesmaids. You lean down, fixing a flower to a gown that perfectly compliments your hourglass shape.
"What a bitch," you condemn in Carma's accent. Once you helped Nancy recover, you took your time getting ready, marvelling at the sheer, audacious evil of her plan. It chills you to think she spent the morning after her encounter with Holden reclining in front of the TV, painting her nails and watching tennis on TV.
Her plan is too good to ignore, though devoid of subtlety and lacking any morals. She wants to upset and distress Alexandra, give her the wedding from hell before her honeymoon 'accident'. First the walk will be evened, so Alexandra is feeling as self-conscious as possible. Then a few barely hidden barbs will be slipped at her weight. She'll barely be able to concentrate during the photos, and won't notice as Holden and the bribed photographer manouvre her into the wet, slippy, muddy corner of the Harmony Garden that was so heavily watered the night before.
And that's all the treats Carma has planned for her so-called best friend, even before the reception begins. It doesn't mention that her first dance will be 'accidentally' danced at a faster tempo than Alexandra will find comfortable.
Those are just annoyances, though. The real wedding from hell starts when her priceless family heirloom, wrapped around her neck by her husband, will mysteriously vanish.
Carma's snake smile has fooled Alexandra entirely. It makes you feel a little sick. Carma is a vile piece of work. But, as you hear others gather to leave for the wedding, she's not the only bitch in this nest of vipers. The more you learn about the people at the wedding, the more they disgust you. The racism, the poor parenting, the self-obsession and, of course, plans to commit outright murder. But then you're walking around wearing someone else's body; who are you to judge anyone?
You glance through the balcony doors, out toward the garden. As is tradition, the groom and families have started gathering. All that's left are the bride and her bridesmaids. There's a faint knock at your door.
"Carma?" Alexandra slips through the door, earnest eyes looking at you sincerely. "I... I'm not sure if... phew. I guess this is pre-wedding jitters?"
You frown Carma's most perfected, empathetic frown. "Oh, honey," you say, stepping forward to give her a deep hug.
You wonder if you can go through with this. Carma's cold personality is planning murder. Murder; you have to stop that. You're sure you can, somehow, and still get the Bloom. But for Alexandra there's no happy ending if you ignore the problem you're confronted with.
What do you do? Take action to stop Carma's scheme, prevent the wedding and still claim the Bloom? Or remain in character, no matter how terrible the outcome may be?
