Continue forward

You motion with your torch and continue forward doing the hot, humid tunnel. The bluish light grows brighter and brighter, although likely only seems bright because of the absolute darkness of the tunnel ahead.

Ahead you see a dark chamber and the light seems to be moving, though its source never becomes visible. Glaw motions and you and the other goblins snuff out your torches. You approach the chamber cautiously and hide in the cover provided by two ancient and broken columns.

You see fear in Glaw's eyes by the blue glow and as you step into the cover of the columns you too feel fear rising inside you. Within the chamber is the floating shape of a man glowing with an unearthly blue light. He has a frightful, though human, face and wears the robes of a knightly order you do not recognize. You feel a terrible chill in the air despite the tunnel's earlier heat and the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end.

It is a wraith, there can be no doubt. One of the most terrifying and dangerous types of the undying. Intelligent, cruel, and able to suck the life from a mortal with merely a touch. Within the chamber the wraith seems to be patrolling you can see a chest covered with dust and a wooden door on the far wall.

You could attempt to sneak past the wraith, confront it and attempt to reason with it, as such things are not unheard of, fight the wraith with your simple weapons, or flee back to the intersection of tunnels.
