Chapter 26 by Admira Admira

We have months of food stored away, but no to be found!

Construction of Infrastructure

The rest of the week followed a pattern.

Emmy and I woke up, sticky from the night's activities. Sometimes joined by either Regina or Taylor, sometimes both. Regina made breakfast, then watched TV in the lounge before the next meal. Taylor had found an old loom and I used the ring to restore it. She spent most of the day weaving.

Emmy and I finished on the foundation and walls, then started restoring furniture to fill all the rooms properly.

We discovered a mutual love for creating. I used magic to shape metal and wood, while Emmy used an enchanted paintbrush to decorate the restored furniture and quickly repaint the faded walls. Hopefully Emmy will want to continue working on art without me being present.

Taylor made everyone clothing. I got a gorgeous dress that somehow shimmered like the night sky and clung to me like wet paint. Regina got a silken, translucent wrap that seemed to fit her personality perfectly. It interlinked with her ever present chains like it had always been there. She hugged Taylor with a shockingly heartfelt thanks. Then ruined it by flicking the Arachne's clit.

Emmy received another short sarong and what was basically a silk ribbon wrapped across her neck and chest. All in emerald green and brilliant white.

We carefully gathered every Artifact in the manor into the armory in the basement for later. It was almost impossible to tell what any given object did or if it had decayed dangerously until you tried to use it. Nuh-uh. No ancient evil was going free under my watch!

(Regina sneezed)

Gwen kept in contact through text and a nightly video call. She'd even got Maria to appear on Thursday night. The waitress stared at our image on her phone.

"You're a succubus? Did I sell my soul to get these?" She hefted her udders, slight worry in her voice. I saw Gwen pouting in the background.

"No, you still have a soul and I don't plan on taking any." I said firmly. "Anything more you and Gabriel want to do is completely voluntary."

Maria perked up, "Oh Good! I want more." She squeezed a breast and licked up the milk from her hand, staring into the camera lustfully. Her seduction worked a little too well when Gwen latched on to a dripping nipple.

"So I guess we'll meet you at Gwen's on Saturday?"

"Eek! Yes! Gabe an I already put in for a couple weeks vacation. Ahn~ He's not fully convinced on the whole magic stuff but when he tasted my milk he decided to hell with it." She clutched the hungry bunny to her teat and shivered in a titgasm. "We'll see you then!" She waved cheerily then ended the call.

Well, that was good news.

Friday morning was spent brainstorming on how to make the trip into town and back take less than four hours for a round trip. I ruled out flight and a magic train tunnel through the mountains as too dangerous or expensive.

My solution? Quick, cheap, and simple teleportation!

Why is everyone looking at me like that?

"Morgan, you need to be very careful. Your soul might be strong enough to do very simple warping of spacetime. But it'll hurt, be very limited and slow. And only be a single two way link." Regina poked me in the tit with every sentence, ignoring my muffled protests as Taylor webbed me to the wall. Emmy was no help as she pouted at me sternly from behind Regina. "Do you understand? No one wants an open rift to the Plane of Agony. Got it?"

"Mmph fhmph." I bobbed my head frantically. I would be careful!

Regina squinted at me before nodding once. "Release the prisoner." Taylor began untying me. "But she's on probation until she makes up for me having to be responsible here." She spread her labia wide and I rolled my eyes.

After an... Interesting lunch I started by raising a stone platform in the basement. I engraved a pentagram on it, making it glow an eerie purple. I found some old tent stakes and bound them to my teleportation circle. The ring burning intensely.

Under careful observation, i.e. Taylor and Regina, I gripped my teleportation beacon from across the room and focused on the circle.

I was squeezed and twisted through a swirling tunnel that tasted like purple and sounded like ozone before I stumbled to my knees and vomited a rainbow onto my tele-circle. It worked? It worked!

Taylor whispered to Emmy after Regina checked me over for eldritch corruption. "What was with the rainbow vomit?"

"I think it's an anime thing. Gwen told me about it the other day, it's both easier to draw and doesn't gross people out while still getting the point across." Aww, the members of my harem are bonding!

With each test the disorientation lessened, and soon we could teleport back to the manor all the from the road outside the valley, a good three miles away.

Each of the twelve beacons could only be used once a day without recharging, they could only teleport about five hundred pounds at once and they only teleported to the circle, not from it.

But we could teleport! Woo!

Before we could start making a celebratory dinner, Gwen called.

"Hey Gwen, it's only six, what's up?"

Gwen's voice shook in the way that meant she was anxious and worried, but not really scared. "Morgan, this guy can see through the glamour! He says he knows you're a demon and wants to talk."

I froze.

Ah shit.
