Consequences

In the dimly lit room, a door opens, and a man is thrown inside. He growls at the rough treatment as he gets to his feet, and turns to the figure sitting at the other end of the room. Stalking forward, he points at them.

“You! Who are you? Why was I dragged here? Do you know who I am?!”

The figure lifts a hand, and the man freezes as if paralyzed. A decidedly feminine voice speaks. “Oh, I know exactly who you are, Nathan Krieg, leader of the local arm of the HPP. I also know you failed to protect a warehouse that held something I needed.”

The man’s eyes go wide. “Wait, YOU'RE the Lord Magus we attached ourselves to? And you wanted those filthy animals? Why?”

“That is not your concern. I barely tolerate you zealous bigots, and I do not tolerate failure. You have failed, and so you will be replaced.”

With that, the figure gets up and walks towards Nathan. He struggles to move, but is held in place by an unseen ****. He can only watch as the figure reaches up and removes their hood, revealing a beautiful face with a sinister grin. Wreathed with black horns and purple hair, her eyes are red-pinned black. Long pointed ears and blue tinted skin complete the picture.

Nathan gasps, staring. “Y-you’re one of those animals!”

She snarls at him. “My name is Kali! I am a powerful Lilim, and you are in no position to judge, scum.”

With that she throws off her robe revealing a voluptuous body barely covered by strips of metal and leather, along with small bat wings and a long tail. She has long, clawed leather gauntlets on her arms, and thigh high leather boots, both decorated with gold trim and rubies.

She steps closer to Nathan, grabbing his chin with a clawed hand. “Enjoy the sight, bigot. It is your last, after all.”

With that, she kisses him, then walks past him towards the door. Nathan, freed from paralysis, drops to his knees. A strangled gasp escapes his throat as a glow behind to form behind his eyes. Before he can do anything else, light begins to erupt from his mouth, then his eyes. In seconds, he begins to disintegrate, soon leaving behind nothing but ash.

Kali approaches a burly guard at the door. “Send word. Replace HPP members with our own people. Their usefulness is over.”

The guard bows, “Yes, Mistress Kali. Consider it done.”

Kali glances at the pile of ash on the floor, and sighs in annoyance.
