Consequences

Victor throws a letter down in front of you and smiles disarmingly "Read it," he tells you "And learn the truth."

You lean down to pick up the letter, but jump back at the last second when a gunshot rings out from across the yard and hits where you were just standing. You see Victor raise his hands and shout at someone in the distance "NO WAIT!"

Suddenly, you hear the cry of an eagle and a drone about the size of your head slams into Victor. Kate speaks into your earpiece "Cedric, get out!" Is all you hear before a man, clad in white, slams into you.

"Assassin" he says, towering over you, blade in hand, "You chose a bad time to tie up loose ends."

You spit out blood and roll back onto your feet "I don't think an American has any right to judge me about terrible timing."
