Connect Four

Gillian pulled a box from her bundle. It was perhaps a foot square by four inches deep. It was mostly blue with bright red letters on it.

“Connect Four?” Linda wondered as she read the name on the box. A rather amused smile appeared on Cindy’s face. It was matched by the one on yours. It was not the game you expected from the straight-laced tutor. Still, it was a strategy and thinking game, so you didn’t think that it was too odd.

“It’s the only game I could find.” Gillian explained. There was short silence before you realized everyone was looking at you to give the rules. You opened the box and handed Cindy the chips while you put the legs on the board. It gave you time to figure out what to say.

“I have a couple questions for you first.” you started, “How do you want to do this? Do we do this as one on one matches or do we do this as a group? Do we do this fast or slow?” Cindy looked over to Gillian. It was obvious she was waiting for the redhead to answer. When she hesitated, Cindy spoke up.
