Confront Kesa

You noted the location of Kesa's hut so that you could have a talk with her later. In another nighttime escapade, you sneak out through your usual route and enter her home. Like most peasants her home is communal, and you gently wake Kesa so you can take her somewhere more private. The sleepy-eyed peasant is loathe to get up, but you get her out the door. You lead her off to the edge of the woods and light a torch, illuminating her tan skin in the fire. She sits there expectantly, looking both bored and annoyed. "How could you do this?!" you whisper forcefully. She shrugs nonchalantly. "Do what?" she says in a heavy accent. "Fool me! Trick me into...lovemaking with those other girls! Just so you could get their money!" You keep your volume down, but your tone is fierce. She brings a hand up lazily to cover her yawn, infuriating you with how little she takes you seriously. "You nobles. Always talk 'bloodline, bloodline'. So, I help bloodline" she says, batting the gentle curve of her stomach all the while. "This way, bloodline never die" she says with a sarcastic smile.

You pace back and forth angrily, thinking of what to say. "It's wrong to trick people, especially over something like this! I'm not a prize animal to be rented out to stud!" She just looks at you with heavy lidded eyes for a few seconds. "Why not?" she asks, sounding at least somewhat sincere. "Why not?! Well, because...it's wrong. Also, I'm trying to create an heir to my throne, not sire countless bastards." She looks at you in silence again. "Why not?" she asks in the same tone. "Why now? Is that all you can say, 'why not?'" She yawns again, unimpressed by your anger. "The girls want it, they pay me what I want, you get sex you want. Everyone get what everyone want. Good plan, so why not?" You stand there, awe-struck at her simplicity. Yet at the same time, you can feel a little something in the back of your mind agreeing with her.
