Computer Class

Renee scurried into her computer class retreating to the back corner away from everyone else as she tried to keep the sides of her shirt intact. She had made it through the passing period but her bottom half kept flashing her fellow peers. She squirmed trying her best to conceal herself behind the monitor and desk, crossing her legs tightly.

“Ohmygod… I just got to get through this class and then home…” She reasoned to herself still fidgeting at her shirt. Silently praying nothing more could happen to her wardrobe to whatever God that clearly wasn't listening. Renee whimpered when she heard a little rip after readjusting her shirt forcing her hands not to touch the straining fabric.

“Alright class, I hope those who are presenting today are prepared. Today we have Izzie with the effects of THC on the mind and bo….” Mrs. Hendricks began to prattle on as Renee felt a pit grow in her gut. She had planned to just hide in the back for the period watching presentations and run straight to her car when they were over, as class would have 10 minutes of freetime. And the elderly Ms. Hendricks tended to let them go home since it was the last period. But she remembered something that caused her heart to stop unfortunately as the teacher concluded.

“And finally, Renee with the effects of embarrassment on the mind and body.” a task she had picked at the beginning of the semester after her unintended birthday streak hoping to learn how to cope with that seemingly mortifying day compared to all of today. Now even more giving credit that she enjoyed being the **** Redhead.

“Izzie if you would please dear.”

As the blonde with a punk jacket and somewhat muscular framed female walked to the front of the class and pressed the clicker of the white board to her first slide. The redhead started to zone out trying to find anything in the room that could fix any of, or add to her outfit. Finding nothing and for the first time that day, what felt like seconds equated to a huge sum of minutes.

“Very interesting stuff Melvin. OK Renee sweetie, you're up!” Mrs. Hendricks gleefully shouted as Renee snapped out of her stupor. Everyone had presented, and she already had been through enough and was ready to just get this over with. As she walked to the whiteboard the PA system asked Ms. Hendricks to come to the office. Tracy had a plan of her own as she ran away from the microphone

“Did you want me to wait?” Renee asked hoping to buy some more time in the back, but the woman already was heading towards the door with a slight pace.

“Don't worry Renee just go on with your presentation, I'll make sure to see your file if I don't make it back. I'll be right back dear. You better behave class or Melvin will let me know.” Ms. Hendricks insisted as she hurried out the door with Renee standing to the chortles and sneers of the classroom. Taking a deep breath, reminding herself after this she could go home, she exhaled and looked at everyone nervously.

"After this I can just go home, take a nice long bath, get dressed finally and not think about this anymore." She thought confidently to herself.

“S…so my topic is the effects of embarrassment on the mind and body…” Renee spoke with anxiousness as she pressed the button to the result of nothing happening. Melvin who spoke with Tracy earlier thanks to her help last night, then pressed the right arrow key on his keyboard as he decided to have hacked the system and present a little show of his own
