Complete facelift

Also, the material of the wall, it just had the same finish as their house, but now seemed a bit more… rustic? And what was with the size? The room seemed a little bit bigger; even the chair he was using was different, with now more intricate details all around the wooden chair, clearly it had been made by an expert carpenter and not on a regular Ikea, unless that store had better products that he remembered.

But it was the moment he focused on his wife that the full impact of his wish had become obvious, because his wife, a woman that had started to show the touch of time on her face and body, had become a completely different person now. Gone was the overweight woman that had found it hard to be able to maintain any kind of physical routine after they began to grow older and responsibilities piled up; instead, a young beautiful woman sat down in front of him.

Her face still maintained some features of her previous body and race, with her eyes looking as bright and full of pep that the older Sarah had, but the colour was different, now instead of the rather mundane brown this Sarah had deep, bright sapphire blue eyes, they were gorgeous and so bright that it wouldn’t surprise him if they shone light at night. Her face was slim now, with high cheekbones, pale skin and features that made her look almost aristocratic, her lips were fuller and her hair, where should he start describing it?

Sarah’s hair was now a delicate blond, golden strands that fell down to her shoulders and perfectly framing her gorgeous face, a hairstyle that she used to have when they were younger, before she decided to keep it short for convenience; well, as an elf it clear that her hair was an important part because it seemed to glow and it looked so soft and glossy.

Finally, the proof that his wish had been granted was on the ears, pointy and long, peeking from beneath her hair and standing up, showing to the world the proud lineage she was part of as an elf. So… how much did his life change after wishing for an elf life?
