Common misconception

One of the most well known traits about the goddess Aqua is that she has an aversion to panties. That she forgoes any form of underwear when prancing around in a minidress.

This is actually not true.

Aqua does wear panties and is actually rather paranoid about the idea of a pervert seeing them. So she learn a low level spell to keep them hidden.

Unfortunately, being rather short sighted, her idea of preventing a pervert from seeing her panties was to turn them invisible. Aqua thinks that making her underwear impossible to see protects her. The fact that making her panties literally see thru exposes her groin and ass is lost on her.

Her teammate Kazuma discovered this when he attempted to use his Steal technique on Aqua. When she explained why Kazuma was holding a piece of invisible silk, she interpreted his blank stare as shock at her genius.

Kazuma decided not to correct her assumption.
