Comments on Episode 4

There has always been an element of comedy about Italian pornography and deliberately so. They like to keep it light. There was so much sex in this story that it almost felt as though we should play the film at double speed, accompanying it with some Benny Hill music. We did however resist the standard British joke of pooping on the poop deck, especially after the watersports of the previous episodes. Nevertheless much of the action took place on moving boats and in a confined space which led to many minor accidents in our ship simulator.

Although I considered Aria for the role of Alatiel and secretly wished I could get hold of Petra (Jane in P&P), there really was only one choice. Tabitha Gash, having made her mainstream debut in Middlemarch XXX, had the exotic looks, the magnificent curves and plenty of stamina. There was the added bonus in being able to film a double anal penetration scene, which would have been beyond most actresses. It is indicative of how far we had come in a few months that none of the audience seemed minded to complain about it.

You will not be surprised to learn that it was Jason’s idea for the sultan’s game of musical wives which replaced my plan of visiting his harem with an inordinate amount of flesh on display as they swam, fed each other grapes and generally behaved in a sexy manner – sound like my ideal retirement home. On reflection it saved a small piece of the budget.
