The story was a strong one to start with; a simple story with a lot of sex and a standout DP scene. There was really only one choice for the female lead, the only actress there with hardcore experience, Aria. Originally we had thought to use an older actor, maybe Tom Gillette, as the abbot in the story is of a certain age, but we thought maybe female viewers might just prefer to see Elio in action.

Another deviation from the text is that the original does specify that the farmer’s daughter is on top when she makes love to the abbot, but the anal sex proved better for our story. Also keep in mind that the sex scenes are generally 5-10 minutes and we have not got time for a lot of positions unless we skip. If appropriate we might show multiple positions in a montage if we are shorthanding repeated trysts between 2 lovers.

This time we did not go straight to nudity as we particularly wanted to keep Selena’s and Ariana’s goods hidden until the right moment for commercial reasons. Like most of these ‘proper’ actresses I wanted to fuck those 2 badly, but could they handle my size? I doubted it. The show was received well all over Europe, but unsurprisingly a lot of the attention was already on the American stars.
