Chapter 26 by Sojaxx

What's next?

Coming Clean

When Adora returned to the village no seemed to notice that she was walking around with her ass out and her mounds bouncing unrestricted. She should have been relieved but the reason they weren't idolizing her was because they were fretting over the Heart Blossom. The source of the kingdom's magic was covered in black-and-yellow vines and the leaves falling at a rapid rate. Like poison-filled veins, they wrapped around the tree and signaled that time was running out. Perfuma stood at the base of the tree and looked to Adora. "The Heart-Blossom is dying. Please, She-Ra, heal our land."

Adora wasn't any closer to healing the land than she was when she started. All she had to show for her work was a muddy asscrack. Bow offered a supportive thumbs-up but it did little to ease her anxiety. She placed her hand on the Heart Blossom, closed her eyes, and concentrated all her energy into her palm. The familiar warmth of magic resonated in her and she waited for a reaction to occur. "Oh, come on, do something." The vines spread and consumed the tree further.

At this point, Adora realized how hopeless the situation was. She couldn't perform a miracle and she couldn't mislead these people any more. Stepping back, Adora returned to her normal form albeit with a larger stomach. It would be easy for someone to mistake her for being five months pregnant. Her old pants were back but there was still dried dung on her derriere. Gasps rang out as she turned to face the crowd "Sorry. I don't know how to heal."

They met her response with confusion and anger; demanding to know what happened to She-ra. Adora did her best to explain the situation and that she was not the same She-ra they revered. In the midst of her apology, tremors rocked the village and the vines continued to spread. Adora looked to the smoke rising in the distance and said, "Wait! There might be another way. I know the Horde. I think they're using one of their machines to poison your land. If we wanna save your home, we have to stop them!"

"You're not She-Ra from the stories," shouted a shirtless villager. "You were supposed to save us!"

"It will be all right, I promise," claimed Perfuma, desperately trying to please her people. "We will rebuild. We have to believe that the universe will repay the Horde for their evil deeds eventually."

Glimmer stepped in and called out, "The universe won't protect you! You want She-Ra to fix everything, but won't even try to save yourselves? At least Adora's trying."

"If She-Ra can't save us, no one can. Right now, we just need to make sure our people are safe. We leave today." Perfuma and her people turned and walked away to prepare to relocate. Bow and Glimmer were the only ones to see Adora drop to her knees.

Glimmer knelt beside her and asked, "Are you alright?"

"I just wanted to help," sulked Adora. "But all I've done is disappoint an entire kingdom. I'm sorry I let you guys down after you talked me up.

"We just wanted everyone to see what an awesome person you are," said Bow.

"Bow, I thought I could heal their land with cum and poop." Adora couldn't believe it took her this long to realize how idiotic it sounded.

"Because that's what I told you to do! I thought I was being supportive, but I was actually being terrible!"

While Bow lamented, Glimmer came in and tried to get the conversation back on track. "Adora, She-Ra's not the reason we like you. We like you because you're our friend." Hearing her new friends be honest with their feelings was strange yet comforting to hear. She couldn't imagine Catra saying something like that. Or apologizing. As rough as her new life was, Adora was glad that they were in it. Their words gave her the confidence boost she needed. Another explosion grabbed her attention and Adora stood up. "You have a plan, don't you?"

"Yeah, I think I do."

What's her plan?
