College

Your college, which was unfortunately out of state and to your estimate a twelve hour drive away. Hence the reason why you hardly visited home every since you went there. Seeing how you were being held prisoner by the amount of assessments your lecturers drowned you in. It’s almost like they wanted you to die from pure exhaustion, due to the countless nights you spent working to get them done by the deadline.

It wasn’t all bad thankfully, dorms we’re pretty nice and the roommate you got stuck with eventually became a good friend of yours. And when you mean eventually, pranking your new roommate isn’t a good first impression.

But they developed a good friendship in the end... after dishing out some **** of course. Almost reminds you of the times Dad and you held a prank war one time, fond memories you can’t help cherish over the years. You and your Dad have always been close ever since your mother passed away.

It’s why you can’t help worry since you haven’t received any sort of replies to the multiple messages you’ve sent to your Dad in the past few weeks.

But that doesn’t matter now, since your finally back home. You’ll just ask the old man why he hasn’t been responding to any of your messages or calls yourself. Which means you should probably stop standing outside of your Dads house like some creepy stalker. Adjusting the bag on your shoulder and dragging your luggage from behind, you starts making your way towards the front door.

Rubbing out the tiredness from your brown eyes with your free hand, stopping just before the pale white door. Setting your luggage down just by the door frame, you knock on the door and patiently wait.
