Coffee.

Having enough excitement for one afternoon, you make your way over to your usual coffee place for a quick cup. Terri greets you warmly when you get to the counter and gets your usual ready for you in record time. Taking an open seat, you settle in and sigh comfortably. Selas is apparently invisible right now because no one is paying you any mind. "So where's Sarah?" Terri asks, coming around to wipe down a table.

"Exploring," you lie, remembering that Selas is posing as your "cousin". There's an odd look of concern on Terri's face, so you ask her, "What? Bad idea to let her roam around on her own?"

"Well..." she grimaces, tucking the serving tray under her arm. "You did see how that Gus guy was acting around her. And she was kind of egging him on, so... I don't know. Just don't want her to cause you any trouble, y'know?"

"Yeah... you're not wrong there. Thanks for your concern, by the way." You smile at her and she smiles back, playing with her hair under her cap before leaving you to your drink.

Selas looks from her and then to you. "You do know she has a massive thing for you, right?"

"She does?" you gasp, trying not to whip your head around. Selas nods smugly and points to the counter. Moving your head as slowly and trying to make it look as natural as possible, you notice that Terri has looked away from your direction and is suddenly very busy, even though there's no one in line. Your mind starts putting things together, and you realize that if she didn't, there would be no reason for her to attend Melissa's party, let alone visit you in hospital. You sigh. In hindsight, you should have taken your shot, way before you got caught up in Selas' mess.

"If you ever wanted a human kid, she's your best bet right now." Selas says, taking a sip of your drink. "And just because I feel like it, I'll take off my spell on your cock for the next couple of days, so you'll have something to compare with later. Not that it's going to be any competition."
