Clothing Catastophe

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I took my phone and looked at it- it was the reminder I had set to meet Stacy for dance in half an hour. Then I also realized I had forgotten something

“Oh shit, my clothes”

I ran down to the laundry room and saw the dryer still running. There was no timer on these machines, so they never stopped. As I retrieved my clothes, I saw they had all noticeably shrunk.

Fuck. All my casual and athletic clothing were in this load, and I had to meet Stacy soon.

I took what used to be one of my favorite green sweaters out from the pile. The body had shrunk by several inches. When I put it on, it rose up to show midriff now, fitting more like a crop top than a sweater.

As far as pants went, I just grabbed the pair of yoga pants that Stacy had gifted me a while ago which she insisted were unisex- again, part of her mission for us to be “matching”.

I started running towards the gym so that I wouldn’t miss the beginning of the session, ignoring the glances I was getting as I passed through my floor.

I arrived at the designated room right before the session was set to start, and as I caught my breath I started looking around.

“Stacy!” I called out once I saw her. She looked in my direction, and as I approached her I noticed a confused expression.

“I made it just in time, you wouldn’t believe all the things that have been going wrong”

When she heard my voice, realization started spreading across her face

“Alex! I didn’t recognize you, why are you dressed like?”

“I fell asleep while my clothes were in the dryer, they all shrunk. This was the first thing I saw so I threw it on”

“Oh my god, you look soooo cute. I have a few tops you could borrow and we could totally be matching sisters”

There she goes again, with her crazy ideas.

“Hahaa, very funny. Lets go, the club is about to start”

We entered the room and I took a look around. It was full of girls, not a single other male in sight.

“Hey, how come there’s no other guys”

“Huh weird, I don’t know, guess alot of guys aren’t that into dancing here??”

Soon after, what appeared to be the club president that was standing at the front of the room began to speak

“Helloo ladies, nice to see we have a great turnout this year. We’re just going to be conducting this in a class style a few times every week - so I’ll be in front, showing new moves which you all will copy. I’ll go around to help anyone that seems to be struggling but the main goal is to have fun, stay fit and feel sexy. Now who’s ready!!”

The class erupted into cheers, and I just shaked my head and clapped along. It was obvious this was going to be geared towards girls. Whatever, it might be fun to learn a new style

So the class started, and I was proven right, all of the moves were obviously made with the female body in mind. I spent the next hour rolling my body, gyrating my waist and rotating my hips. Years of practice made learning easy though, and soon Stacy and I had mastered the moves for today’s lesson. In fact, the girls around us took notice and started asking us for tips.

At first it was weird showing a girl how to properly pop her chest and wave her hips, but soon Stacy and I started having fun being teachers.

By the end of the session, I felt comfortable around alot of the new girls and was chatting with them. As we were leaving, the president approached us

“Hey, I noticed you two helping the newer girls out, thank you so much, there’s only so much I can do by myself”

“No problem, we had so much fun” Stacy said.

“I’m so glad to hear that. I could use the extra pair of hands, I’d be really happy if you girls could try and make it as often as you can. Based on today, you could make it to the e-board in no time”

Before I could correct her mistaking me for a girl, Stacy butted in

“Oh we’d love to”

“Thanks, you two are lifesavers. I never got your names by the way- I’m Maddie”

“I’m Stacy and this is Alex..I mean….Alexis”

I looked at Stacy with a confused expression, wondering why she said a fake name

“Nice to meet you Alexis, I have to say girl your style is amazing, I love the way you show off your body- that confidence is sexy. I’m also kind of jealous of your ass, wish I had one like that”

“I know right I’ve been telling her that for years”

“Hehe, well I have to run, see you two next time”

As Maddie left, I stood there, confused at the interaction that went on before me.

“Uhhh Stacy, why did you tell Maddie I had a girl’s name”

“Soooo, i actually checked the club info again after you mentioned there were no guys and turns out this isn’t co-ed, it’s girls only. But we were having so much fun and since everyone seems to think you’re a girl I figured what was the harm in keeping up the act. I was going to tell you but Maddie came up to us before I got the chance. I know you’re probably mad but you can’t deny how much fun this was”

I was mad - no guy, in a room full of attractive girls, wants them to think he’s also a girl. But the more I thought about it I realized Stacy was right, I was having a lot of fun, and -probably because of my clothes - everyone seemed to think I was a girl already and welcomed me into the club.

I sighed “Fine, I did have alot of fun today, I’ll keep this up, you’re lucky I’m such a good friend”

Stacy did her signature squeal and gave me a hug “Oh my god thank you, i was having so much fun and didn’t want you to leave. This is going to be amazing”

Stacy really was going to be the end of me, always dragging me with her antics.

“Alright, want to get an extra workout in at the main gym?”
