Cloth Diaper

Lauren stared slack jawed at the article of clothing in her hands. No, it wasn’t even an article of clothing! It occurred to her that this house must have been owned by a couple with a baby, because she had just pulled off a cloth diaper from the clothesline. Lauren merely stared at the bright pink garment that was covered in pictures of bunnies and flowers.

Lauren looked over the fence to the yard again, seeing that it was once again empty. She looked between the diaper and the clothesline for several seconds, debating on whether to run back over to the clothesline and pick something else or to just bite the bullet and put on the diaper. Lauren realized that she got lucky the first time she was over there, but she wasn’t sure if she would have the same luck this time around if she went back. On the other hand, the only option she had for clothing at this very moment was a diaper!
