What happened next?
Closing time.
The open bar coupled with the last night before the group had to go back to work was too much for the women to remain sober. They had even persuaded Jonathan to have another drink before he had to aggressive decline and luckily for him the pool closed at ten.
"Can you carry me, Jon?" Zoe whined as she laid back on the couch with an asleep Leah and Natalie.
"Me too!" Cindy giggled as she and Hane leaned against each other on the couch.
"Carry me!" Kaylee added to the chorus of pleas.
"Girls, I can't carry you all at once!" Jonathan sighed.
"How about I watch over them and you can make sure each of them are safely back in their room?" Jen suggested.
"Can you can handle all of them?" he asked the redhead.
"I'm a bartender, remember?" she smiled with a wink.
"Touché," he smiled.
As an ER doctor he was trained to triage patients by assigning the degrees of urgency of their wounds and illnesses. For the most part the girls were drunk from all the wine they drank -- they were giddy at best or asleep at worst -- but did not suffer alcohol poisoning to the point they were vomiting.
