Closet Cooldown

Stephanie decided to hang up her purchases herself, taking the time to thoroughly inspect each article of clothing to find a stain, even a wrinkle, to prove that old bitch had ruined her clothes and therefore her life. The closet she had entered was impressive, with more floorspace than some studio apartments. A wide hallway was lined with hangars full of clothes, sorted first by color, which created a wonderful rainbow of fabric to search through each morning, then sorted by style, which for Stephanie boiled down to how provocative they were. Under the hanging clothes were dressers to store underwear sets similarly sorted to complement the articles hanging over them. Finally, there were low shelves for storing the shoes to finalize each day's look. The hallway ended in a T shape, housing a vanity, makeup, and full-length mirrors surrounding a circular, raised platform. Stephanie enjoyed starting each day feeling like a supermodel, and her mood was steadily improving just from being in her happy place. Finally indulging in a smile, she began sifting through her purchases, almost forgetting her initial anger.

She started with her bulkiest shopping bags: the shoes. This was where she was the most conservative with her shopping, only getting a dozen or so more pairs. Some were shoes she already owned, but she obviously couldn't use the same pair with multiple outfits. She slumped on her knees into the plush carpet, shuffling along to the appropriate spot for each pair, using the short trip to admire the footwear one more time, assured they had been unharmed while in their boxes. Glossy, open toed, block heels, sparkly rhinestone wedges, towering platform heels, and even a pair of casual sneakers were all tucked away where they belong, their boxes tossed haphazardly towards the bedroom for a servant to take care of later. Next, she started unpacking her tops. Crop tops, tube tops, bustiers, corsets, and the occasional oversized t shirt were studiously sorted. Finally, her legwear, from skintight leggings to skintight jeans, from skirts to daisy dukes: each piece of clothing was guaranteed to show off her lovely legs. She had purchased around 40 new outfits just from these new articles of clothing, not even counting how they would match her older wardrobe. She had calmed down considerably from her tantrum, and completely forgot about the odd events on the bus. "Nothing like a shopping spree to lighten my mood." She grinned. "Except putting on a new outfit." She sprang back to her feet after putting away some tight, athletic shorts to decide on her new look. Before she could make a choice, a rustling in one of her many lines of clothes drew her attention. "There better not be a fucking rat or something in here." Despite her trepidation, she slowly approached to assuage her fears. With a deep breath, she flung the hanging clothes aside, thankfully finding nothing creepy. All she saw was a totally adorable outfit. "Wow, this would be perfect for the party." She beamed at her luck. She pulled out the clothes and took them to the dressing area of her closet.
