Cleaners

Given how large the mansion is it's rather a surprise how little people are required to look after it, I've barely passed anyone since I arrived.

It takes me a moment to remember the way to the staff wing, lots of wrong turns, and peeking into rooms as I do. But eventually, I find myself looking down a long corridor, rooms dotted here and there. Knocking on the closest one someone yells out at me "Be there in a second."

There's a conspicuous clashing and cluttering from behind the door before it's thrown open.

"Sorry, I was just getting changed."

"Oh don't worry, I was just wondering where the cleaners might be."

Stepping out of her room she takes great care to close the door giving me only the slightest glance of another, barely covered nurse.

"What's the time?"

"Around 7 or so."

"They should currently be on break so you should be able to find them in their rooms down that way...

She points down the hall and to the left.

...or upstairs in the attic."

"Why the attic."

Turning back around she places her hand on the doorknob hesitating when she hears my question.

"There's a part of the attic that's never used so we've turned it into our own little games room, now if you'll excuse me I need to go finish my shower."

Leaving her to her "Shower" with a small chuckle I consider where I should look first.
