Cinema with Scarlet

We entered the cinema lobby, Scarlet had the tickets ready but before going to see the movie i asked her "Hey, there's still 8 minutes left before the movie starts, want to buy something to eat?" She cheerfully said "Oh yeah! I love some good popcorn!" We went to the concession stand and while we waited for our turn at the line we looked at the different snack combos that they had, we ended up choosing the large popcorn box with two medium sodas combo that Scarlet wanted - when she said she wanted that one i tried arguing "Well that looks like a lot of popcorn, i don't know if we can eat all of that... we already shared a large cheesecake before..." she smiled and playfully said "Well then let's share a large popcorn box now..." i chuckled and decided to pay for it. I already used 50 dollars, mostly from the overpriced snacks at the theaters but i wasn't stressing over money - we just needed 10 bucks for transportation so we had enough money, unless Scarlet wanted to buy something else.

We received our large popcorn box, i carried it in one arm and with my other hand i grabbed one soda, Scarlet was carrying the other soda and the tickets so when we went to the main hallway with the ticket employee Scarlet gave him the tickets and we continued walking without any problems to the 3rd room where The Caretaker was about to play. As we walked through the dark hallways of the cinema Scarlet whispered "I'm so excited to see The Caretaker, this is going to be so awesome!" I smiled from her excitement and we continued walking. We were now in front of the huge screen and we were looking around to find our seats - we walked to the G row where our seats were, Scarlet walked first to our seats and helped me with the popcorn box as it was difficult to walk through those tight seat corridors. She sat at the G-17 seat and i was at the G-18 seat so we were right in the middle of the movie theater, we placed our sodas next to us at the armchairs and we relaxed as we waited for the movie to play.

Scarlet was already eating some of the popcorn that i was holding, she ate more than me but i also ate a little, i was the type of person that wanted the popcorn to last through the wntire movie but even i couldn't resist to the magnificent buttery and salty flavor that the popcorn had - it was perfect so i started eating a little more, then more and then i was grabbing a handful of popcorn every minute, the movie hasn't even started yet and we were already eating tons of popcorn. As we were eating Scarlet said "This popcorn is really good" as i had my mouth full of popcorn i just made a "Um-hum" sound while nodding, i continued eating but she wanted to talk a little bit more, it wasn't like i didn't want her to talk, i mean it was our date but at the cinema people don't really talk so maybe it was a bad idea for a date, she said "How long is this movie going to be?" I shrugged as i didn't know how long it was going to be, we still had a lot of time before midnight arrived but hopefully it wasn't longer than 3 hours.

We continued talking a little before some of the lights turned off, the screen was now playing trailers, most of them looked kinda lame but there were some good ones that Scarlet and i noticed and talked about them - there was a drama one that involved some sort of crime that looked really cool, some superheroe ones and even a romantic one that interested us. At the end it was nothing too special but i was lpoking forward to watch those movies in the future. Now the rest of the lights turned off, which meant that the movie was about to begin, the movie theater was now really dark and the only lighting it up was the huge screen that was playing the intro of the movie. I knew that we weren't going to be able to talk that much so i whispered to Scarlet "Alright, let's enjoy the movie" she looked at me and said "Well of course, what else are we going to do? Do you want to spend the entire movie making out or what?" I chuckled and flirtatiously whispered "Maybe..." she smiled again and gave me a sweet and short kiss on the lips, we returned to our normal position an started watching the movie.

There's not much i can say about the movie, it was really cool, there was so much action that i was constantly at the edge of my seat, it was really entertaining and there was so much going on that i didn't pay much attention to the movie. Although at one part, like at the middle of the movie where the protagonist calms down and spends the night at a girl's house Scarlet went to grab some popcorn but instead she stumbled with my hand already inside the box, it was akward so we both laughed a little before she went to grab popcorn again and then rested her head on my shoulder, i rested my head on her head as the typical romantic position to watch a movie. We spent most of the time like that, without saying anything while we watched the movie, she snuggled up against me as we removed the armchair spearating our seats, she was hugging me in a very cute way but we stopped as soon as the action started - talking about the action, The Caretaker has to be the coolest and most ruthless superheroes of all time, he didn't give a fuck about anyone, except her lover of course, and he took down every thug and criminal with the best techniques ever, it was like Batman but so much better, also he definitely killed a lot of people, i mean he snapped everyones necks and even jumped off a bridge with a criminal with a jump around his neck, which meant that when they jumped The Caretaker killed the criminal in the most brutal way possible, there was no blood, not even a single weapon in sight, he just used the rope to hang the criminal in a super realistic way, snapping his neck with the rope in the fall and turning the criminal into a ragdoll, it was so cool and that's not even in the top 10 kills of this movie - it was truly awesome and The Caretaker was becoming my favorite superheroe.

After an amazing final act The Caretaker clearly wins but he suffers a great injury that seems like is going to kill him, then his lover comes to his rescue, tries to keep him alive but with no avail - it looks like he dies but then a scene shows how the devil himself doesn't want him in hell so The Caretaker fights the devil to regain his life, i have never seen something that ridiculous happen in a movie but in this one they turned it into the best fight scene in the whole movie, the special effects of the fight scene were next level, the visuals of hell looked like one of the coolest places to be and the choreography was incredible. At the end he wins and gets back his life, he returns to the real world and goes back to his lover, it was a very emotional movie that i wasn't expecting. As i saw the protagonist with his lover i looked at Scarlet to see that she was being touched by that scene, i whispered her name so she turned her attention to me, i continued whispering "Do you think that could be us?" She gave me the warmest smile and replied "Yes, i love you" i was caught off guard by the words that just came out from her mouth but i didn't hesitate to say it back and give her a big and passionate kiss - as we were now making out i glanced to the movie to see that The Caretaker was also making out with his lover, it made me smile but i continued kissing Scarlet because it just felt so good.

The movie was now showing the credits, the lights turned back on and as we broke the kiss i noticed that her pupils were fully dilated, i thoight Wait, if her pupils are dilated it means that she loves something that she sees, right? So right now she is staring deeply into my eyes, which means that she loves me. We continued staring at each other's eyes until i got the feeling to do something, to say something it was a bit crazy but then i remembered the key chain in my pocket that i was going to give her so i started saying "Scarlet, i really, really like you... you are the cutest thing on earth i'm so hapoy that i can be here, watching a movie in a date at the mall... what i love more is the way that you kiss me, how your soft lips feel when they press against mine, how you always look at me like you are deeply in love with me..." i stopped for a second to let her talk as she said "Is because i'm deeply in love with you... you always make me smile, your jokes bring me to a world of laughter and joy and when you look at me i can't help but turn red as i think you are the best looking guy in the whole galaxy!" I was surprised to see that she thought i was the best looking guy in the galaxy, not only in the world, in thw whole galaxy Wooooow, she really loves me... i have to do something now, this is my chance to make her mine... listen to what May said, just do it André i said to myself, i was trying to gather the courage to make my move but i couldn't, i don't know why. Thankfully i remembered the key chain so i just thought Fuck it and i pulled it out of my pocket, when Scarlet saw it her eyes inmediately glowed and she started making a surprised expression before i started saying "Scarlet, i really love you... and to express my love for you i got something for you... i know is not much but i thought about you when i saw it because i know how much you like this anime sooo... here you go" i handed her the keychain and she looked speechless, i heard how her heart was pounding faster and faster, she began heavy breathing and tried saying something but she only managed to stutter "I-i... This... André, t-this is" i smiled at her and didn't let her finish her sentence, i pulled her into a kiss that lasted for a long time before i pulled away and saw her astonished, i chuckled and before she could say anything i got the courage to ask her...
