Church Car Ride

The back door slides shut to the minivan and your older sister Katherine sits next to you, squishing you in between her and your other sister Lilly.

You say to her, "You know there's plenty of room in the back right?", pointing to the row of empty seats behind the three of you.

Katherine fusses your hair and says "Yesss but then I wouldn't get to sit next to my favorite little brother before his big day."

She says in a fake whisper that everyone could hear "Are you nervous about being Mom's sex ****?"

You cringe a little as your mother reprimands your sister "Katherine! We do not talk like that in this family, especially not on our way to church."

A moment later, she adds, "Besides your brother is not a '****', him and I are only going to be bonded together and we're going to have an extra special relationship from here on out."

Katherine jovially says back, "Sorry my mistake, I meant to say, Are you nervous about becoming Mom's extra special helper?" There was clearly a bit of sarcasm injected into her words, but your mother didn't seem to notice.

Your sister Lilly, who had her signature gothic makeup on and was in a black dress that could easily be mistaken for some gothic lolita cosplay, spoke up "Who are you fooling Mom? Everyone at church knows what this ceremony is, you all just act like it's totally normal to enslave the entirety of the male sex."

Your mother sighs in exasperation and says "Lilly, please let's not do this today. We're gonna have the whole church watching us after all."

Lilly continues with her rant though "And the fact that this is done in a church of all places and in the name of a higher power, "The Holy Mother", whoever the fuck that is, just makes you all act so high and mighty and sniff your own farts about being the low life degenerates that this entire society breeds."

You look to your sister and in response she quietly snakes her hand under yours and gives it a squeeze, conveying tenderness toward you despite the grimace on her face.

Your mother answers "Lilly, you know I didn't make you come with us, I asked if you wanted to join your family today for once, and you said yes" "If your going to sabotage your brother's ceremony, then I'll turn this car around right now and you can go back to listening to angry music in your room all day."

She scoffs and leans back in her seat, "I'll be "good" Mom, just thought I'd let you know how I felt about all this."

Your mother answers, "Your opinions are already well documented with everyone in this car. Besides, once your brother takes over cleaning duties, I guess he can skip your room, as that would be too close to 'exploiting' him in your book. Maybe you can cook your own meals too as that might be taking advantage of your mother."

Your sister Brittany, in the front passenger seat says "Hold on, if Payton's cleaning our rooms, does that mean he'll be like bonded to us too?"

Your mother gives her a glare from the side and says "I didn't say that Brittany. You're brother will be my attendant alone, you know that."

Brittany says back "Surrreee, but come on Mom, we should be able to fuck him too" ".. it's only fair"

Your mother makes a pained noise, "Agh! Enough! Nobody is "fucking" anyone here"

Lilly says, "I have an idea, why don't we ask Payton if he wants to be bonded, or maybe he wants to be bonded to someone else." She squeezes your hand tighter, almost secretly implying something.

You say, unsure of yourself, "I.. uh.. I don't kn.."

Your mother says again "Enough! This is not a democracy. You girls live under my roof, and you will respect your brother and me, especially today of all days."

She then adds "And besides, your brother wants to go through with the ceremony, right baby?"

You pause for only a second before saying "..yeahh.. I uhm just wish we didn't have to do this ceremony in front of the whole church."

Katherine chimes in with dripping sarcasm, "Whatttt? Why wouldn't you want to kiss your mother's dick in front of an entire church full of people??" "Don't be a baby little brother."

Brittany says, "Kat's right, today's the day you become a man by kissing Mom's cock in front of Hannah Reed."

Both girls snicker at your expense. You were expecting your mother to chide the two girls, but instead she curiously asks with a sober look on her face "Whose this Hannah Reed?"

After a second a silence, you nervously add "Anyways! Are we almost there mom?"

Your mother says to you, ignoring your question, "Honey if you have feelings for this girl, I would want to meet her, I'm going to be your Matriarch today after all. I need to know when you get a little girlfriend."

You looked from left to right in a blind panic, "Uhhhh it's not like that I swear!"

Brittany laughs and says "He's clearly not into her at all Mom, can't you tell from his copious amounts of flop sweat."

Your mother says, "You say she's in our church? Is she Carol's daughter?"

Brittany answers "That's right"

You blurt out with desperation "Plleeeassssee don't say anything Mom! I've already got the ceremony to worry about, I don't need any more embarrassment!"

Your mother says "Pish posh sweetie, if you like this girl, maybe I can talk to her mother and set up a playdate. I know Carol a bit. You won't know until you try honey"

You shut your eyes, wishing you could disappear, while Lilly squeezes your hand and runs her thumb over the side of your hand, trying to reassure you about today. It was evident she was only uncharacteristically attending church for you.

Just then your car pulls into the church parking lot and you see all the people, young and old in their sunday best, entering the church, the church bells ringing, telling you it was a joyful day to give praise to the Holy Mother.

You gulp as Katherine opens the back door of the van, starting what you hoped would be a quick easy day.. At least, you hoped.
