Christmas Break: Two Days before Christmas

It was two days before Christmas and Jonathan still had to work, though he would be off starting the next day from his engineering job. Leah had some choices. Jonathan had stayed up late playing video games and was nursing a cup of coffee on the couch as he woke up before he had to head off to work. Leah poured a cup of coffee for herself and joined him on the couch.

“What are your plans today honey?” He asked as he blew on his too-hot coffee.

She thought about what she could do. She could go shopping with Jonathan, she could go see the Christmas lights with Jonathan later that evening, or she could go meet up with someone in town…
