They continued on their journey, passing by houses with inflatable reindeer, singing snowmen, and even a life-size nativity scene. Leah and Jonathan both marveled at the effort and creativity of their neighbors, feeling grateful to be a part of such a festive community.

Eventually, they made their way back to their own street, their own house glowing with lights and a beautifully decorated tree in the front window. As they pulled into the driveway, Leah turned off the music and leaned her head against the headrest, a content smile on her face.

"Thank you for this," she said, turning to Jonathan. "It's been such a wonderful evening. I love Christmas lights--I think they are my favorite part of the holidays."
