Choices

Kara decides she just might be able to pull off sneaking in as an employee. She makes her way through the crowd to the side entrance, and slowly opens the door. Peering around, she sees no one at first, and dares to step inside, closing the door behind her. She finds herself in a part of Blaze's that no one else would know about, except for employees. There's a flight of stairs that leads up to what a sign on the wall says "Observation Room" off to her right. In front of her is a door that opens to the employee lounge. At least that's what it says on the sign on the door. To her left is a strange looking door covered in runes and occult symbols. The most prevalent is the upside down pentagram in the center. Further down the hall to her right is the door that leads out to the club itself. It's clearly marked "Employee Entrance."

For some reason Kara gets a strange feeling about the odd door as if it could be something she might want to stay away from. She feels a powerful **** surrounding it, and she remembers her cousin telling her that while magic could help her, it could also do her great harm. She ponders this for a while. Zatana's magic had always helped her, and her cousin. But what about this magic she was feeling? Is it really something to worry about, or is it just her imagination?

If there are employees in the lounge, maybe she can learn something useful from them, just by listening and talking. And what is this observation room all about? If Blaze's was tied in to slavery, perhaps that's where they watched for potential victim. The employees only door probably led through the back of the kitchen, and out to the bar, so she crosses that one off of her list of choices. After all, she was here to snoop around, not to work.
