Choices

Mr. Anderson closes and locks the door behind him. At this point, Audrey starts to put her shorts back on when she sees Mr. Anderson hold up a hand.

"What am I to do with you young woman? You have violated multiple school policies, made hostile claims against other students, show aggressive out bursts, and now I find you running around the school in your underwear. That is grounds for expulsion."

Audrey was frightened. Expulsion now could have a lasting affected upon her future. Her mind was spinning. How did it come to this? Why was this happening?

"Mr. Anderson you don't understand." Audrey pleaded.

"No and I don't really need to understand. The point is, you have made some bad choices and each one has a consequence. Now, you can either sit down and call someone to pick you up while I write up your paperwork or..." Mr. Anderson paused to let the silence set in.

"Or?" Audrey responded.

"Or we can take some immediate corrective action and save ourselves any further negativity." As he said this, Mr. Anderson sat on his desk, picked up a ruler, and patted his knee.

Audrey couldn't believe what was happening.
