Cho Chang

FLASHBACK

Harry left the classroom that Professor Mcgonnall had used to anounce the Yule Ball. Already he saw some girls looking at him hoping he would ask them to be his date. Not that he would. He already knew who was going to ask to the ball.

He just arrived at the entrance if the great hall when he saw her coming from the other side. Cho Chang. The pretty asian girl was talking to her friends excitedly, probably about the Yule ball. Having noticed her during previous years quidditch game between their houses, Harry had taking an instant liking to her. Unfortunately, last year's craziness about Sirius escaping Azkaban and then the tournament this year had him keep his distance a bit not wanting to drag the girl in it. But with the ball approaching he wanted to take his chance.

Steeling his nerves, he caught up with her right before she headed into the great Hall. "Hey Cho" he called out, causing the entire group of girls to stop and turn around. "Hey Cho, can I talk to you for a second?"

"Sure": She replied with a slight blush to her cheeks. She montioned to her friends that they should go ahead without her and that she would catch up. She followed him through the door across from the great hall for some privacy.

"So Cho, I wanted to ask you if you wanted to be my date to the Yule ball". She gave him a beaming smile. "Yes, I would love to go to the ball with you.". "Great". He kissed her cheek, causing her blush to deepen. Before he left he agreed to meet her in the entrance hall at 6:40 pm with the ball starting at 7:00 pm.
