Chloe gets the highest score

It was the end of the lesson, and the students dropped their quizzes into a pile on the teacher's desk as they filed out. Miserable and boring she may be, the teacher was reliable and Will could expect the scores to be published on their school's online system swiftly.

Chloe caught up with him in the corridor. "Feeling confident?" she smiled. Will tried to affect a dauntless expression. "Easy peasy," he said. "Not even that last question took me long. Chloe's big brown eyes met his blue ones, and she spoke more softly. "You're going to regret taking the bet, Will," she purred. "Get used to wearing lots of clothes, since you won't be soon."

Will embraced the taunts, let them wash over him. He leaned down and spoke into her ear. "I hope you match, Clo. I wouldn't want you to be embarrassed later."

This continued as they left the school and drove home, Will driving and Chloe next to him. They shared taunts and threats as Will's house approached, each hyped up on false bravado. Then, as the car pulled into the driveway, Chloe's phone pinged.

"It's from the school app. You'll have one too. The old frump has already marked the tests."

Will pulled out his phone as Chloe laughed aloud and punched her fists in the air. Uh oh. "What was your score?"

"You first," she grinned. Will opened the notification - 18/20. His heart leapt. Surely, that would be enough?

He told her, and saw the sparkle in her eyes, the gleam of victory. Her smile got even wider. "Nineteen out of twenty, Willy boy. Read it and weep." She thrust her phone into his face and Will's defeat was there in front of him.

Grabbing her bag, Chloe bounced out of the car. Inside, Will felt his blood turn to ice. This would be unprecedented. Never before in their little fun and games had either of them been subjected to a punishment like this. Oh, Will had been embarrassed before, but this would be humilating. **** to strip down in front of his gloating friend and rival.
