Chillin'

You look at the beds in the wall and notice that two of Emily's three roommates are here. They were both inputting their information into the computer screens that were in their alcoves. Those computers were mostly limited to personal use and couldn't access most of the systems on the Massachusetts. For the most part, officers used them to maintain a schedule, record and view personal logs, and send and receive video messages from friends and family over sub space.

One of them looked over at the two of you.

"Emily!" She yelled with a bright smile.

"Savanna!" Emily responded.

Savanna jumped down from her bed and the two of them gave each other a friendly hug. Savanna started whispering in her ear while looking at you with a devilish smile on her face. Emily giggled and whispered back to her. Pretending that you had no interest in what was going on between the two of them, you decide to look at the other roommate to see if she moved at all.

She didn't look like she moved an inch and wasn't interested in the slightest of two of her roommates laughing and hugging each other. She had long dark hair that wasn't currently tied up like Astrofleet regulations specify. Her attention was glued to the monitor as if she was the only person in the room.

"Are you going to give me a tour of your room too, sir?" Savanna laughed and Emily's face turned red with a shocked look on her face. She smacked Savanna on the shoulder which she replied with more laughter.

"I don't know what you're talking about." You say blushing with a smirk on your face.
