Who says Mai had to have her heart broken to find love outside of canon? Not you, for one.
This program stipulates that not only does she love you just like she loved Zuko in the show--she has always loved you! And just like the show, it's been years since you saw each other. You two are going to have a lot to catch up on, but I guarantee it's going to be fun.
Of course, unless you state otherwise, this will mean she thinks you used to be Fire Nation nobility. Do you want to have to explain that to her, or should we ground her in the real world?
