Checking it out

Leaving the Maple household behind, Carol and Mabelle were met with the rather peaceful serene locales of Littleroot Town. By no means a premier retirement location, it no doubt had its perks and the like.

"It's just a short walk away." Carol cooed and Mabelle's gaze bounced about. While not having to look far, the relatively large single-story building felt like the sort of place to draw the elderly in.

"Certainly bigger than I expected." Mabelle remarked, just catching a nod out of the corner of her vision. While her vision was better than Carol's, it wasn't by much.

"Yeah." Carol answered as the pair entered.

On the inside, they were met with a rather plain lobby. No doubt meant to be soothing on elderly eyes, it didn't really do that for the pair.

Off to the side, a woman was patiently waiting.

"By any chance can I interest you in a tour?" she announced and caught the pair by surprise.
