Checking In On Home

"Ahnassi sees you didn't go either, Lita?"

Lifts-Her-Tail smiled and nodded to her khajit friend. "It was important to see to this ones duties at home. Master Walter said our appearance wouldn't be to unusual for that world but... well, I..."

Ahnassi smiled at the argonian. "Yes. Ahnassi also stayed for that reason. Walter would be distracted explaining our appearance and looking after so many as is. Ahnassi also wanted to attend classes and help prepare for our guests who will be coming." She helped her friend bring in linens into the room. "Is that why you two stayed as well, Ahnassi wonders?"

Haruna and Haruhime were inside making up the extra room. The Renard and the Goblin both smile and nodded. "Yes," Haruhime said nodding wagging her fox tail. "It was nice to be asked but we have duties and preparations here as well."

Haruna nodded and looked at the two beds. "We were just talking about them. Do you think Linda and Shocket will come, Headmaid Lita, Ms Ahnassi?"

Lifts-Her-Tail tail smiled and shook her head. "Whatever they decide for themselves is what will happen. Master Walter wouldn't force them and honestly it isn't important if they fo or don't. This one thinks that what is important is that they have a place to come home to if and when they decide to do so, yes?"

Ahnassi nodded and purred. "Well said!" She looked at Haruna. "Do you want them to join us here?"

Haruna smiled and nodded. "I do! I think we could benefit from having them here and it would be nice to have them "at home" with their friends! I think this place is pretty special that way! Like Tempest... Master Walter builds a place for all different kinds of people and humans to get along but also makes them important parts of his family! I like that a lot! He even sleeps- Whoop!" Haruhime covered her mouth as Haruna realized she'd almost gossiped about her masters "sleeping habits" and who he "slept with" with two of the non-humans that he did it with. "E-Excuse my impropriety! I-"

"Ahahahaha! Relax sweetling!" Ahnassi laughed. "No one will fault you two for gossiping about what is common knowledge! Yes, Lita?" She said nudging Lifts-Her-Tail.

Lifts-Her-Tail blushed a bit. "Strictly speaking it's indeed improper to speak of such things as a maid." But she smiled at the two of them. "But Master appreciates us as family, not "staff" and gossip will happen no matter the circumstances even in a strict household. Perhaps even more so, this one thinks. Best to keep things in the open." She winked and patted the bed with her tail. "Sit. Tell us... does that interest you?"

Haruhime blushed deeply as she sat. "Oh... I... I couldn't possibly-"

"It certainly does interest us!" Haruna said sitting. She blinked as her friend gave her a speechless stare for having spilled her secret. "What? They said it's alright so there's no need to be shy about it! Being shy all the time will just make it harder for you to join in you know! You want to know about your chances with the Master too just like me after all!"

"H-Haruna...!" Haruhime blushed then grabbed a pillow from the bed as if she could hide behind it.

Now they all laughed but Lifts-Her-Tail smiled and sat next to her and stroked her hair. She was not only fond of the young lady but as one of the maids she was under her care. "There's nothing wrong, Haruhime. You're among friends who care, dear." She smiled at Haruna. "As for your chances they're quite good! Master Walter is attracted to females outside his species unlike some. Both of you while not human certainly look more human than Ahnassi or myself." She smirked. "And as you have noted he doesn't find our non-humaness a negative." She grinned. "Not at all infact! Master is a wonderfully passionate man! The way he kisses my scales, strokes my horns and... touches my tail... Mmmmm..."

Ahnassi chuckles at her friends visible reaction. She really was a lusty argonian maid as she vusibly reacted to thinking about her passionate Master who adored her... she purred as she couldn't blame her as she thought about it herself.

Haruna meanwhile had giggled happily and Haruhime's fox ears had perked up and her tail wagged. "Is it true... there's a "line" forming?"

Ahnassi grinned at the renard girl finding her courage as Haruna elbowed her friend. "I though you said he wasn't like your Bell person? He's not small, cute or timid like a rabbit!"

Haruhime nodded. "He certainly isn't... and yet... he has the same kind of honest, gentle heart. He also saved me from similar circumstances with nothing to gain and asking for nothing in return. Gave me a home, a familia to belong too. He's a true hero and great man."

Ahnassi nodded smiling softly. "Yes, sweetling. The things you say are true. Even more so since he doesn't see himself that way. Very special, indeed... and yes, there is a line of sorts forming and lnowing Walter for special person he is he would make time for you two as well and do his best to make you "pleased" if you wished it... but there are a fair few "ahead of you"-"

Haruna grinned. "Like Sayoko and Roberta? No way I'm cutting the line to get ahead of them!"

Lifts-Her-Tail covered her mouth but giggled. "Yes... and I would approach the subject cautiously around them. Certainly more so than with the two of us!"

Haruna gulped. "They're not..."

Ahnassi laughed. "They're preparing a cabin for our guests! You can relax... but just a bit!" She winked. "But there's an idea! When Master Walter continues traveling to different worlds why not go with him if some of those worlds are similar to yours or what you're used to! The two of us will definitely be accompanying him to Tamriel. I want to check in on my cottage in Morrowind at the least and it would be nice to see other places in Tamriel by his side. Lita will likely be coming with as well."

Lifts-Her-Tail nodded. "Yes. I'm certain Lydia, Aela and Serana will most likely join him in traveling to Skyrim if not elsewhere. Ilulu has said she wants to go to the ones with "Dragons and dungeons to play with and in" and even Pirotess has expressed an interest as well. Curie intends to join him for this Fallout wasteland place and so do most from there as well and Mission and the droids wish to accompany him to the stars."

Ahnassi nodded. "It's important to not disturb his work and investigations... but it's also important to not let him grow lonely in these places as well. That is why this week was hard for him. He missed home and all of us. Jubilee, Gwen, Jen, Linda and Shocket... even Shogo and others all helped ease his loneliness and in his investigations." She winked. "That would be a good place for you to try to get closer if you decided too! Give him help or even just a friendly face to "come home to" between adventures and investigations!"

They both nodded and smiled. That was a good idea!

"So you three are moving out as well?" Sasha sighed. "We'll miss having you in the bunkhouse..."

Lydia smiled. "Not immediately but we thought we'd begin the process and we shan't be far Sasha. The cabin is near enough and we'll still help with chores and see everyone around here and at mealtimes."

Aela nodded loading up a few more of the things they were bringing. "We wanted to get started while the weather is nice."

Serana sighed. "Speak for yourself," she said with her hood up carrying an armload if books. "Let's move faster. The sun is... it's not great for my skin, if you know what I mean."

Sasha smiled and held out her hands. "Well let me give you all a hand then."

Serana smiled a bit and handed over her armload of things. "Thank you, Sasha. That's very kind."

Sasha smiled taking them. "You're very welcome! Still..." she said helping the girls load up. "That'll just make it Haruhime, Tsuyu, Anastasia, Demona, Mystique and myself left here from our original group. Nora, Mission and Curie are nice enough but they're rarely around... I'll definitely miss you guys when you go."

Aela grinned and winked. "What you mean is you'll miss having more "balanced" personalities in there."

"Aela," Lydia said. "That isn't exactly nice..."

"Even if it is true," Serana chuckled softly but she nodded. "They do seem to be settling down a bit though. Anastasia is actually helpful especially in class and several of us have been trying to help Walt find a way to help Demona with her transformations."

Sasha nodded and smiled. "She's been a bit better lately too... but she's also looking at places to move out to setup her rookery so maybe that's it?"

Lydia shrugged. They'd all noticed Demona being, well... not unpleasant. It was still "Human this" and "Human that" most of the time but she didn't say it like a curse anymore. Sometimes she even used their names and seemed to smile occasionally by herself. "Whatever the reason we should just be happy that she's happier. Though then there's the other one..."

Sasha laughed awkwardly. "Mystique has been... better," she said. She didn't have to mention that was low bar to clear from her previous behavior. They all nodded thinking it. "And I don't know... you all saw and heard Tsu this morning? She and Walt are definitely dating even if they didn't make a big announcement about it. That was obvious from the way the others treated her." She sighed. "I'm actually very happy for her but I wonder if she'll stay in the bunkhouse or move up to the mainhouse? Even if she doesn't I get the feeling it won't be long before her bunk is empty half the nights."

The others looked at each other and nodded. That was probably likely... and it was a part of why the three of them had decided to prepare for the eventual move. They were good friends with each other and had discussed it amongst themselves at length after Walt's offer.

They were taking up residency in another of the cabins/homesteads to make patroling easier and give Aela and Serana both the chance to be more werewolf/vampiric at night without disturbing the others... but that wasn't the only reason either.

Lydia was definitely attached/devoted to Walt. It was a large part of her personality and she seemed especially happy to have a Master she felt worthy and proud to serve that bordered on affection. And after her experience drinking his blood Serana's eyes practically glowed when she saw him. Even Aela had admitted to her friends that he was rather attractive to her.

The three of them planned to accompany him to Tamriel when it was time. They wanted to help and repay all his kindness... and maybe see where things went in a setting alone with him and away from the others... but if he was to "visit" them at the cabin perhaps, either before or after their travels, and check up on/spend time with them... who knew? Maybe things would naturally progress further from there also? One thing was certain. If they did nothing, nothing would change... and it was certainly worth trying by all accounts!

They smiled and Lydia said to Sasha. "That's also a good thing too... Sasha... you and Walt are also good friends. Do you not have an interest in... trying for something more?"

Sasha froze... and the other three smiled as she blushed and rubbed the back of her neck as she chuckled nervously. "What? Who? Me? Aha ha! Good one! Eh heh... heh heh... you guys are kidders! Ha... ha... ah... we b-better hurry up and get your stuff moved..."

The others grinned at her and Sasha slumped defeated. "Am I that obvious?" She quietly asked.

Lydia shook her head as Serana smiled. "Not necessarily... but we're in the same boat as well."

Sasha sighed and nodded smiling. "Yeah. Honestly, I figured as much... I... I am and I told him so not too long ago... but I also told and set him a bit straight on the order to proceed and how many of the others are interested." She shook her head and smiled wryly. "He's a bit blind in that regard, the dummy. What kind of hunter doesn't recognize when he's the one being pursued?"

Aela grinned and laid a hand on Sasha's shoulder. "That's also true... But isn't that also what makes him such intriguing pry, my fellow huntress?"

Sasha smiled at them. "Perhaps that is a part of his charm. Thanks you guys... and happy hunting to all you!" She held out her hand.

Aela smiled and laid her hand on top of Sashas, followed by Lydia and then Serana who nodded. "Happy hunting and good luck to us all!"

A 3S vehicle patrol came pulling up and Curie and several some of the 3S guys got out with bags and boxes. "Merci. But you all don't have to help. Eet is enough zat you went out of your way to drop me off at home already."

"Nonsense," said Lehm taking a drag from his cigarette. "We were about to start our patrol anyway and had the time. Lutz, Valmet, Tojo, R. Help the lady carry her things inside, won't you?"

Valmet grinned and wiped her mouth. "You heard him! Damn... This place has become a cute girl paradise!" She gave her teammates a hard look though. "You boys better keep your nasty eyes off of the Bosses cuties if you know what's good for you!"

"Yeah, yeah," said Lutz then to his fellow teammates. "Geez... Valmet's almost as protective of the bosses ladies as she is of Koko!"

Sasha waved. "Hi guys! Welcome home Curie! That was quick!"

"Greetings!" Curie said. "Oui. We concluded ze shopping and I told ze others I would bring ze things home since I wanted to spend time with, Shogo. It is wonderful to have such a healthy, baby boy to research!"

Lydia smiled. "I think he's inside wirh Demona. She's surprisingly nurturing."

Aela shrugged. "Everyone has their points and she's got good instincts."

serana smirked. "Never judge a book by its cover..."

"Ah! Superb!" Curie said excitedly. "I want to know more avout gargoyle physiology also! What a wonderful opportunity!"

Walt sneezed. He pulled out his handkerchief and wiped his nose. "Huh. Wonder if someone is talking about me?" He stuffed it back in his pocket and looked around. "...or maybe I should dust while I'm up here? I doubt Tony did."

Gwen looked up at him and smirked. "Or maybe you should get down from there?... Having fun?"

Walt grinned looking up at her and gave her a high-five. "Actually I am! Nothing like getting a different perspective." He smiled putting his hands in his pockets. "You ladies are all looking lovely by the way! Ready to go?"

Penny saluted. "We are gala attending ready! You look nice and ready as well... as soon as you are done walking on the ceiling that is!"

Walt grinned. "I'll be right down then!" He bent and placed his gauntleted hands on the ceiling and swung a moment after his armored suits boots released first and then dropped to the floor when his gloves released after. "That is kinda fun! I see why you spider folks love that, Gwen! Van der Waals adhesion circuits in the new suit check out!"

Gwen raised an eyebrow but then laughed. "You're such a big kid!" She fixed his hair.

Walt bent lower to let her do it... and scope out looking down her dress. "Guilty," he admitted. "It's kind of how Tony and I bonded, infact."

"He's not kidding," Pepper said coming in. Walt noticed she was also dressed up nicely in a very flattering blue evening gown of some kind with a deep neckline and even deeper open back. "Boys with their toys in the lab playing around recklessly-"

Walt blinked. "Uh, first let me say... wow! You look lovely as well Ms Potts!" He cleared his throat and kissed her cheek. "And secondly mostly Tony was the reckless one-"

Pepper smiled but raised her eyebrow knowingly. "Firstly thank you, Walter. And secondly who was it that blew the big hole in the wall in the Malibu place?"

Walt pursed his lips and nodded but then grinned. "Ok, point. It was me... but hey what a killer place to put a balcony, right? Tony loved it and thats how he discovered "the can opener," Unibeam!"

She smiled and kissed his cheek before turning towards the others. "Like I said. Boy's and their toys. They are cute and at least this one puts his toys away properly when he's done playing."

Walt rolled his eyes but shrugged with a grin. "Fair assessment." He started taking the gauntlets off as he stepped out if the boots. "Let me put my things away like a good boy and we'll go pick up Ms Frost and get this show on the road!"
