You browse through your emails mainly looking to distract yourself when you notice a new email from Alexandra.

Hi John, the new terms of agreement for the office wager policy are here. Everybody has turned theirs in except you. Come to my office as soon as you can so we can get that taken care of. Wouldn’t want there to be any misunderstandings!

The email is annoyingly professional given that a “misunderstanding” is the whole reason you have to streak home. You're also curious what these new terms of agreement are. Maybe you could use some of the changes to your advantage? It's worth taking a look at. However, Alexandra’s office is on the other side of the office from yours. There will be no hiding if you go which means facing your scorned coworkers.

A pit forms in your stomach at the thought of having to face them in your current attire. You gave your clothes to Alexandra in the privacy of your office. That spared you the embarrassment of exposing yourself to your peers, but you can't hide in your office forever.
