Check the computer

The knowledge that there is a problem immediately pushes you towards the nearest computer console. You approach the large interactive monitor and confusion sparks as it fails to respond to your approach. With a quick visual check you surmise the sensor light is inactive and several amber indicators are blinking to indicate failures in other functions. You tap the screen and the system responds, albeit sluggishly. After a few seconds of a half-generated graphic the system snaps to the initial menu. The stuttering Imperial seal behind the menu does little to assuage your fears. With a few slow and repeated taps you manage to make your way to the main status window.
