Check on the priestess

There's something nagging at me with the situation. The order always told me to trust my instincts as the light often tried to guide us. With most of my stamina and mana restored I start to climb the stairs. I approach the door and I can hear hushed whispering behind the heavy wood door. I try to lift up the handle and open the door, but it doesn't move.

"Everything all right in there?" I call out as I wiggle the handle a little more.

"Is she ok?" I hear a voice behind me. I turn to see a guard that wasn't with the original group walking up the stairs with his sword and shield drawn. "I was sent to check in and didn't see anyone at their post. What's going on?" He asks.

"Undead slipped in through the sewers in the cellar. The rest are clearing them out. I came to check on the priestess, but the guards aren't responding." I say as I wiggle the handle some more. "Open up!" I yell to still no response.

"Something's wrong..." I say as I take hold of my mace.

I raise my mace and slam it down hard onto the door latch and it splinters easily under the ****. I hit the door open and step inside to see a a guard handing the limp body of a young women over to a goblin hanging in through the window. I see the goblin flash a dark evil grin that sends chills down my spine.
