Check on Sarah

As Kendra makes her way to the ladies’ room to check her appearance, you head toward the back of the building to see if Sarah is ok. You do so carefully, not wanting Mr. or Mrs. Ivers to see you or suspect your intentions.

You make your way, unobserved, to your destination. You look, and see no one. You are about to leave and go look for her elsewhere, when you hear a noise from the nearby trees. The walking trail goes off in that direction and doubles back, so you figure the source of the voice is on a part of the path that is hidden from view. Realizing how easily sound travels here, you are grateful that you encouraged Kendra to remain quiet during your quickie; there’s no telling who might have overheard you.

“Hey, shouldn’t we go somewhere more private?” says a male voice. “People walk by here all the time.”

You are about to go on your way, but when you hear Sarah’s voice in response, you freeze in your tracks.

“No, this will be perfect,” you hear her say. “I really need this right now.”

“But I can get us into the utility shed where it will be more private,” says the response. “Kids come here to make out all the time; I’m always picking up their shit.”

“Don’t worry about it,” you hear Sarah say, with a note of desperation that you have come to recognize as coinciding with her reaching the limits of her temporary chastity.

You feel a grip of panic around your heart, coupled with something else — perhaps jealousy? Sarah is about to get it on with some guy! What’s worse, is that she is about to get it on with some guy other than you! You realize you need to intervene.

You look at the canopy of vegetation that separates you from the amorous couple. Do you risk pushing your way through it in hopes of getting to them in time, or should you run to the walking path and approach them that way?
