You leave the room, gun still in hand. The corridor ahead is dark, but you can make out the stairs using your other vision. With each creaking step on the wooden flooring, you make your way to the second floor. More corridors await you, as you walk down a long corridor with windows covered in struts that block out the moonlight.

A loud, piercing shriek breaks through from the floor below, as well as loud growling, guttural noise followed by sounds of objects smashing around. You make an about face and pick up the pace, rushing back down the stairs as you hear the distinct loud bang of a firearm. Then another, and another.

Upon reaching the door that leads back into the garage, you pause for a moment to prepare yourself for the worst. Without much careful deliberation, you send the door flying off its hinges in an impulsive psychic blast. As the door slams into the vehicle it smashes the windows and creates a huge dent. Entering the garage, you find it devoid of any soul. A trail of thick blood, in fact, multiple trails lead back out the other door. Spent silver bullets lay on the ground, the long weapon that your partner carried lays dropped on the corner.

"Fuck." you exclaim under heavy breath as you tighten your grip on your weapon.

"Come in, Delta." you speak into the earpiece.

"Come in!" you exclaim.

No response.

"HQ. I've got a possible MIA, pursuing now." you affirm as you step towards the doorway.

"This is HQ. We advise immediate exfiltration. Deployed units are inbound in thirty minutes."

"I don't have that kind of time!" you exclaim. "I'm going after them!"
