For your elventh birthday, over nine years ago by now, Professor Oak had given you a charmander, and the little fella had been your companion since then. You may have never used him for battle, but he was your friend that you took everywhere and he helped you out with your work and chores.

On a whim, you scanned him with your new, advanced pokedex. To your surprise, it shows a lot more information than your basic model.
