Charm Offensive

It had taken weeks, to gather and carve the massive stone which now sat in a hidden room in the castle in Ledgerdomain. Carved on the stone was a number of symbols and seals, enpowering and manipulating energies which would soon flow through the pillar shaped from rock. The key force connecting all of the symbols was the Sigillum Amoris, the centre piece of the stone. The sorceress who was casting the spell, moved the Alpha Rune to the pillar to power and activate the spell as she chanted.

Purple mana flowed into the stone, filling the carved sigils. As it pulsed, the spell ended. The platinum haired sorceress smiled as she knew the spell had begun. The idea had been simple, if you can't beat'em then join'em! Or more exactly, if you can't beat'em then make'em join you!

'The spell will make people love me. Mostly friendly and familiar love with a large dash of hero worship like the love for celebrities. But to anyone I might have an attraction to will become romantically in love and devotion to me. The best part is the spell is connected to the mana which flows from Ledgerdomain, the life force of all things in the universe. Unless one knows exactly what they are doing, the problems arising from shutting down the spell outweighs the ends.
