Charlie, 18 and recently graduated

Charlie dozed easily as her heard the soft creak of the stairs. It was what often woke him up, his mothers footsteps as she went downstairs to prepare the family breakfast. Charlie turned slightly and began to doze off again, headed back to his dream of Chelsea Ashby from down the lane.

Wait!

Charlie started, jumped out of bed, and ran straight into the wall of his bedroom. For eighteen straight years he had suffered as his twin sister always got the first shower and inevitably used up all of the hot water. This time however Charlie would have his victory and pay her back for years of inconvenience!

Charlie reached for his clothes and assembled something of an outfit before sprinting out of his bedroom door. A tiny blonde blur appeared across his path and with a sigh Charlie chased after her. Tragically though Charlie could not beat his sister Molly and she once again claimed the morning shower.
